I loved this book and the page turning suspense of each chapter. It just took you deeper and deeper in the story with each page. And also loved the vibrant characters and feeling of being in Carmel, Pebble Beach and Big Sur, places I love! I'm buying the audio book too, as a gift for my friends. This one is a big thumbs up! For those busy people out there. The Audio Book is a great option. For drives, walks, while running.

I had an eight-hour flight, and this book was my escape-it completely transported me to another world. The suspense, the characters' lifestyles, and the unexpected twists made it the perfect thriller. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, savoring every word to make it last. It's hard to find a good read, and this is one for sure!

A steadily unfolding plot that grips the reader to the very end. For me, a little too much electric, sizzling and breathless panting and grabbing and kissing. But overall definitely an entertaining chick-lit narrative.

Real page turner. Interested in book due to where it takes place, having been home for many years. Well written and paced. And so appropriate a story for the area it takes place in. Definitely looking forward to to next two books to complete the story.
